A bunch of optional things to remember when facilitating our Engineering Managers Meetup.

3 weeks beforehand

Or right after the previous meetup.

✅ Pick the theme.

✅ Create a new trello board by using the Template.

  • Give it a {title}.
  • Give it a {theme}.
  • Set the boards visibility to Public.
  • Add fellow facilitators to the board as administrators.

✅ Create a new meetup event by copying the last one.

  • Software Engineering Manager > … last event > Organizer Tools > Copy event.
  • Set the time to be 6pm, 1.5hrs.
  • Set the date to be last Wednesday of the month.
  • Update the agenda with the trello board link.

Day Before

✅ Share on LinkedIn.
